At Copper & Cotton, we’re always on the lookout for beautiful designer pieces to add to our collection.

There’s no minimum number of garments to consign. Bring in one special item or a full wardrobe clear-out.

Each piece is carefully assessed and priced based on brand, demand, condition, and quality. Items must be freshly cleaned and in excellent condition, ready to find their next home.

We only accept clothes on consignment at our physical store in Tauranga during opening hours. Unfortunately, we can't accept clothing that cannot be dropped into our store in person.

The process

1. Prepare

Bring your items in during business hours for us to review and accept. Or, call ahead and we can discuss what you have.  We accept season-appropriate, clean, designer clothing and accessories that are in excellent condition. 

2. Process

Accepted items are processed and priced by us and put into stock. We run a 10-week sales cycle - for the first 8 weeks of your items in-store we attempt to sell at the price initially stated. Your item will be discounted for the last 2 weeks of the sales cycle. You’ll receive an email with your listings and pricing. We’re happy to take your input! We will also notify you by email regarding commencement of sale, and end of season collection of unsold items.

3. Commission

You will receive 40% of the sale price. Payments are made directly to your bank account.

4. Collection and Donation

Nearing the end of the season you will receive instructions regarding end of season sale and collection of unsold items.  You will have 2 weeks to collect unsold items; after that, they’ll be donated (unless we agree otherwise).
